Terms of service
Last updated: DRAFT, 12 October 2026
1. Who we are
Payster ("we", "us") provides software that connects a merchant's store to independent, licensed third-party payment and cryptocurrency providers.
2. What we are not
Payster is a software service. We are not a bank, payment processor, acquirer, money transmitter, merchant of record or custodian. Payment processing, fund custody, settlement, identity verification, sanctions screening and regulatory reporting are performed by the licensed providers that process each transaction.
3. Eligibility and acceptable use
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- You may use Payster only for lawful business and only in line with our Prohibited activities list and AML and acceptable use policy.
- You are responsible for your own compliance with the laws that apply to your business, including tax, consumer protection and data protection laws.
4. Payouts and wallets
You supply a self-custodial wallet address. Payouts are sent on-chain to that address and blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. You are responsible for the accuracy and security of the address you provide. We do not hold, and cannot recover, funds sent to a wrong or inaccessible address.
5. Fees
Our platform fee is 3% of each successful payment unless a different rate is agreed in writing. Payment providers charge their own fees, which vary by method, country and amount and are shown at checkout. Fees are deducted before the payout reaches your wallet.
6. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks
Disputes about a payment are handled under the rules of the provider that processed it. You are responsible for your own refund policy toward your customers. [Counsel to confirm the dispute and refund position per provider.]
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access to the service at any time, including where we reasonably suspect a breach of these terms, prohibited activity, fraud, or a request from a provider or authority.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, provider outages, network congestion or on-chain fees. [Counsel to set the liability cap.]
9. Third-party names
Payment method, wallet, card network and company names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility. Payster is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them.
